Client had some water damage from gutter runoff, resulting in several damaged and missing shingles on the exterior of their home.
Solution: We replaced individual shingles before repainting the exterior of the home.
The homeowner would like to change the color of the walls in the foyer, stairway, downstairs hallway, and upstairs hallway of his home. He would also like the ceiling painted. MDF will prep & paint the walls and ceilings in the foyer, stairway, and 2 hallways of this Greenwich home!
This homeowner purchased this house not too long ago. The cedar shingles have only been primed and stained once! As you can see, it has faded but is still in great condition with no cracks or peeling. MDF will soft wash the entire exterior of the home. Then, we will repaint/stain the siding (color of homeowners choice) as well as paint all fascia boards, soffits, corner boards, window trim, and door trims.
This homeowner had her deck done 5 years ago and as you can see, it’s ready for a transformation!
We will come in and power wash the entire deck area, thoroughly sand all cracks and peeling throughout and brush over with a semi-transparent stain to get into the cracks and creases. Finally, we will roll after brush painting to give this deck exactly what it needs, a makeover!
This customer needs to transform a few rooms at her home. She had a close family member who was a painting contractor and her standards are extremely high. After her cousin passed on, she decided to call MDF for our professional reputation and detailed approach to the work.
MDF’s team will sand, prime with Stix bonding primer, and repaint all of her old wooden trim in the living room. After this, we will freshen up 2 bedrooms and a hallway!
Raja D. has called MDF Painting for 3 separate jobs over the years. The first time, she requested exterior and interior painting work with power washing. MDF knew our painters could handle all the work. They power washed and sanded the deck and fence before adding new coats of stain. The fence was stained a solid white to make it stand out. Then painters added new coats to the shed floor and walls. For the interior work, they painted the kitchen door and the living room.
The second time Raja called, she requested our Painter for the Day service. This option is best if you have many small painting jobs throughout your home. She wanted the painters to touch up miscellaneous areas throughout the interior. She was so happy with MDF's work so far she called to power wash her home. She wanted it to be treated with a cleaning mix targeting the mold, mildew, and dirt on the siding. After being cleaned, this is washed off with a power washer. We loved working with Raja over the years!
Craig P. of Riverside called MDF Painting to give his decks, fence, and stairs a new look. The last stain was peeling and needed some care. MDF sent painters to fix it.
They started with a power wash to both decks and the entire fence. To address the peeling, painters sanded down everything for a smooth surface. The spindles, rails, and fence were painted white using Sherwin Williams Superdeck in a semi-solid finish. The deck steps complemented the stone patio by using a stain with a similar shade of gray. Craig loved the new look of his back decks and fence!
Chris B. needed his exterior repaired and re-painted. His window sashes were damaged and needed a carpenter's touch. He also expressed interest in changing the color of the exterior shingles.
MDF painter's picked up the samples he requested and painted them on the outside to give Chris a better idea of what the home's final painting product would be. Benjamin Moore Aura in colors Blue Nova, Caldwell Green, and Jack Pine were all painted directly onto the exterior shingles. He ended up picking Caldwell Green in a Flat sheen. From there, the carpentry team repaired and replaced the damaged window sashes as needed with Bondo body filler. The sanded down exterior had moisture levels measured before adding the paint. The trim was painted in Benjamin Moore's Winter Wheat to complement the new olive green shade.
