Very cool transformation of this weather basement door that was re painted to a sleek black color to maintain its fresh look through the summer.

This beautiful home is in need of power washing and some fresh new paint on the clapboard and trims to bring it back to life! We will begin by power washing the entire exterior of the home, eliminating all dirt and mold buildup. We will then paint the siding and trim to clean up the look of the home. Additionally, we will paint the corner boards, fascia boards, soffits window trim, and doors!

A home in Weston, CT was in need of some MDF love. The exterior was extremely dirty and damaged. Our team power washed all areas of the house until it was spotless. Then, we provided carpentry repair work on the window and door trims. Next, we added a fresh shade of light yellow to the siding and painted the trims white. The customer was very pleased with the end result. It looks like a brand new home!

Mike’s home from Westbrook, CT had fading and blistering paint on the exterior. He hired MDF who fixed the problem with the exterior painting service. Our crew first power-washed the entire home to remove the buildup of dirt and mildew. They then heavily sanded the surfaces and applied a high-quality primer. Customers from Weston, CT were experiencing a fading red color on the exterior of their home. The red color that was originally a bright, fire-engine color turned into a light, fading, red covered in brown dirt. We cleaned the dirt off of the surface with a pressure washer and then painted bright red coats of paint on the surface. During the spring Igor T. bought a beautiful property in Weston, CT. The home itself has a fascinating history - it is considered the most architecturally significant estate in Weston. It was designed by famous architect Roger Ferris (known for his work in The Hamptons) and was built in 2002. MDF was called to personalize this estate, providing a complete interior revitalization that included painting, drywall, and carpentry.

 The carpentry work was extensive and included the custom building of various items. Cabinets, shelves, desks, a wardrobe, and the theatre on the third floor were all custom built by hand to the exact specifications of the owner. Wainscoting was added to walls throughout the home including every wall in the master bedroom. New drywall and joint compound were used to repair ceilings throughout the home, especially in the basement, kitchen, family room, library, foyer, mudroom, and office.  Spot sanding, caulking, and primer followed all the repairs.

Igor chose Benjamin Moore matte and semi-gloss finishes for the paint. We added to the modern elegance of the home by keeping colors light and neutral. White trims and cabinets were paired with varying shades of light-smoke to charcoal gray, complemented by marble throughout the house. Fresh paint was also added to all the custom-built desks, cabinets, and theatre so they could blend seamlessly into the rest of the home. This project sprawled across the entire 13,000 square foot estate and took about 2 months to complete. It was all worth it as Igor and his family love their new dream home!
