This homeowner has peeling paint, faded stains, rotted wood, and woodpecker damage. He needs the exterior painted as it has not been done in over a decade. Our crew will pressure wash, sand, prime, and paint his home. MDF’s carpentry team will replace rotted trim and clapboards to guarantee that only wood with a moisture rating under 13% remains!
This homeowner would like the full exterior of the home to be power washed, as well as the top tier deck and lower deck. Also, he would like the facia board and soffit on the front of the house to be painted, as well as two windows. This was a newly purchased home which is in great condition! The homeowners would just like to change color to add character as well as a few carpentry repairs, including a couple of corner boards and a few clapboards replaced to add some character and get a long-lasting beautiful paint job. MDF will come in and soft wash the entire exterior of the house. We will take care of any problem areas such as sanding and spot priming, replacement of two rotted clapboards, and a few corner trim boards. Then, we will go shopping with the homeowner to pick out the color of their choosing. Next, we will paint the full exterior siding with two coats of paint/stain. We will also paint all window trim, door trim, soffits, facia boards, dental molding, and front doors with 1 coat of match existing paint.
This home was just purchased and the homeowners are discovering new problems/projects that they need to complete, one of them being the extensive amount of peeling and rotted wood on the exterior of the home. MDF will soft wash the exterior of the home. Then, we will start sanding, scraping, and peeling off all loose paint to prepare for the transformation and the colors will be changed. Next, we will start spot priming all bare wood areas with a slow-drying oil primer to ensure proper adhesion when applying the new coat of solid stain. All siding, facia boards, soffits, window trim, and door trim to be painted the color of the homeowner's choice. The carpentry includes cutting out a 6 x 6 portion of the siding in the back of the house, replacement of rotted plywood behind the siding, and replacing it with new siding. Also, we will be replacing a facia board.

MDF will thoroughly sand all windowsills, trap the beer wood with a slow drying oil primer and finish off with a coat of exterior trim paint to prevent future rot to the windowsills.

MDF was excited when we found out we had the opportunity to transform Davin's deck in Ridgefield, CT! The structure of his deck was beautiful and perfect for hosting gatherings, however, it was being held back from its true potential. The wooden boards and railings had damage from sunlight and lack of maintenance. To liven to area up, our team applied coats of white paint on the railings and pillars. We chose a bright brown color to contrast nicely with the white. The entire area is drastically improved, and Davin couldn't be happier with the results!
