Edna from West Hartford, CT was in need of a deck staining service. Her deck had been stained several years ago and the stain had been completely faded. Our crew first power-washed the deck to remove any dirt or excess paint, so they can start on a fresh surface. They then sanded and primed the deck to make sure that the stain would last. Finally, they applied two fresh coats of a red stain to the entire deck, including the steps. The deck transformation looks amazing and Edna is happy with the final outcome.
A customer from Easton, CT reached out to MDF for a few different services. One of the services needed was a high-quality power wash from MDF Painting and Power Washing. The garage to start had a beige siding and had visible stains from dirt and natural wear that the family wanted to be removed. The team solved this issue with the use of our pressure washing machines and made it the goal to wash away all blemishes to have the garage looking clean, fresh, new, and ready for repainting also to be done by MDF.
MDF was contacted by Edna to pressure wash he exterior of her home, deck, front porch and side entrance steps for her home in Hartford, CT.
For the back deck and side entrance steps to begin working on them we sanded the deck and steps to remove any loose and peeling stain. Then, we applied the full coverage coats of solid stain. For the color of the solid stain Edna requested we color match to the color that was already there, so we went to Sherwin Williams where they created a custom formula to match the red tone color it had. As for the spindles, railings, posts, lattice, risers, stringers, and fascia we applied the full coverage coats of a color match paint as well.
Linda W. needed to update the exterior of her Hartford home. She called MDF Painting to paint and perform light carpentry work.
In her contract, she specified that the window trims and high gable end fascia above the garage should be painted. The carpentry work was replacing the threshold. Linda wanted the moisture checked after the previous paint job was sanded down to the bare wood. After these tasks were accomplished, MDF applied primer. The exterior needed Sherwin Williams Emerald satin finish paint. One coat was painted to all the window trims and fascia. The result was a warm tan exterior color that Linda adored!
