Charity

MDF is a painting company that is serious about serving our local community. We strive to embody the Boston College motto of: “men and women for others” in both our words and actions.

A few community-minded things that make MDF unique:

• Our company is entirely “employee-owned.”  This means that all eligible employees share in our financial success through a matching 401k retirement plan and a full year-end safe harbor profit sharing.  This means that every one of tenured employees shares in our company and has a real stake in our mutual success.
• MDF participates in quarterly community service projects that range from volunteering at the CT Food Bank to painting underfunded classrooms for local schools.
• Each year we donate a percentage of our company profits to charity.
• Our annual “$5,000 Charity Paint Project.”  Our community service committee selects 1 family in need each year to re-paint their home free of charge.  Please email us to request an application.
